Launch of the Watts, The First Electric Trail in Brazil Promises Performance and Autonomy With a Touch of Innovation and Sustainability!
A Watts, a well-known brand of the Multi group (formerly Multilaser), has just launched a new electric motorcycle in Brazil. Presented to the public in June, the W-Trail combines a robust off-road look with advanced technology, promising to tackle both the urban jungle and more challenging trails. With a competitive price that rivals the Sahara 300, this new electric motorcycle is already available at dealerships, according to motonline.
W-Trail: The First Electric Trail Motorcycle in Brazil
Launched in São Paulo, the W-Trail from Watts is the first electric trail motorcycle available for purchase in Brazil. Based on the VMX10S, manufactured by the Chinese company Velimotor, the W-Trail is assembled in Manaus (AM), ensuring quality and robustness. With large suspensions, spoked wheels, and mixed-use tires, the W-Trail has a look reminiscent of the Honda XRE 190, including its characteristic front beak. The upright riding position provides comfort and control, ideal for any terrain.

Power and Performance of 160 cc
One of the major highlights of the W-Trail is its central motor, which differs from the standard electric motorcycles that usually have the motor mounted near the rear wheel. With 12 kW of power, equivalent to 16.1 hp, the W-Trail delivers a performance comparable to gasoline 160 cc motorcycles, such as the CG 160 Titan and the Dominar 160. The motorcycle reaches a top speed of 100 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, providing an agile and efficient riding experience.

Fast Charging Battery and Solid Autonomy
The W-Trail is powered by a single 72V and 58Ah battery, noted for its quick charging time. At electric car charging stations, the battery reaches 100% charge in just 3 hours. At residential outlets, the charging time is approximately 5 hours. With this configuration, the motorcycle offers a range of 100 km, sufficient for most urban commutes and some adventures outside the city.
Standard Equipment and Competitive Price
The new electric motorcycle from Watts comes equipped with modern items, including full-LED lighting, a digital dashboard, USB charger, alarm, and keyless ignition. In addition, the W-Trail does not require gear shifting, but offers the convenience of a reverse gear. The brakes are single disc on both wheels and feature a combined braking system (CBS), ensuring safety and efficiency in braking.

The price of the W-Trail is one of its biggest attractions. With a suggested price of R$ 31.990, the electric motorcycle competes directly with the Honda Sahara 300, which costs R$ 31.963, according to the Fipe table. Available in two colors (blue and red), the W-Trail also offers a warranty of up to 2 years, reinforcing its cost-benefit appeal.
