The Municipalities of Caruaru, Bonito and Bezerro, in the Agreste of Pernambuco, Will Generate Various Jobs with Investment from Large Companies
In recent weeks, with the recovery of the economic sector due to the Covid-19 pandemic, large companies have begun to make larger investments in the cities of Caruaru, Bonito, and Bezerro, all located in the Agreste region of the State of Pernambuco, resulting in the creation of 2,600 new jobs. According to data from the Ministry of Labor, in August, due to the pandemic, a total of 2,300 jobs were deactivated.

In the city of Caruaru, a project is under construction on BR-104. The company belongs to different market segments but focuses more on construction materials. This store will create 550 job openings in the city.
According to Alexandre Fernandes, Trainee Marketing Manager of the company, he stated that “And the good news is that we are hiring. Our hiring process is entirely online. This store will offer 70,000 different products and we have over 2,000 suppliers.”

The increase in income for the local population will create a consumption moment. In the end, the entire region’s economy benefits,” said economist Madsanny Vasconcelos.
