The system of the solar plant in SP consists of 2,352 solar panels and has a capacity of 1,293.6 kWp, equivalent to the energy consumed by 1,000 homes. The system of the solar plant installed in SP will prevent the emission of 56.4 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the same as planting 81 new trees every month.
According to Marcelo Zanatta, president of Âmbar Energia, the inauguration of the company’s solar plant in the interior of SP is a crucial step for its expansion strategy in the solar energy sector, a market in which the country has a great generation capacity and meets the demands of its clients by having a completely clean energy matrix.
Âmbar Energia Has 4 Plants, Together Totaling 9,408 Solar Panels
In July, the company inaugurated the Âmbar Saltinho Photovoltaic Plant, also located in the interior of SP. The new solar panel plant was the first inaugurated by the company, which began investing in the sector last year. It is important to emphasize that the company invested R$ 23 million and the Saltinho system consists of 4 plants, which together will have 9,408 solar panels.
This way, clean energy will meet the demand of several clients, including Swift and other integrated producers from Seara, both belonging to JBS. Another important piece of news is that the homes of employees across the J&F group in the region will also be supplied with solar energy generated by the solar plant in SP, with a discount on the distributor’s bill.
In total, the four plants have a capacity of 5,174 kWp, equivalent to the energy consumed by 2,800 residences. The new system will prevent the emission of 12.193 tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 4,000 new trees per month, which not only is a great way for the company to contribute significantly to the environment.
