According to the Sebrae News Agency, Camilla Domingos created LC Saquinhos from organza bags and brought personalized packaging to the national market through Shopee, selling 35,000 units per month, earning around R$ 60,000, and maintaining 14 employees, with support from Sebrae Delas in Alagoas.

Personalized packaging became the core of Camilla Domingos’ business, an entrepreneur from Alagoas who started selling organza bags and, with the advancement of digital sales, transformed LC Saquinhos into a national operation.

According to the Sebrae News Agency of Alagoas, the company sells 35,000 units per month throughout Brazil, earns around R$ 60,000 monthly, and maintains a production with 14 employees.

Business started with organza bags

LC Saquinhos was created in 2010, initially with the sale of organza bags. At that time, the venture was not yet the main activity of Camilla Domingos.

With the arrival of motherhood, Camilla and her husband decided to dedicate themselves exclusively to the business. The extra income took on a new significance when the couple began to structure production, variety, and sales channels.

Line grew with fabrics, prints, and sizes

Over time, the products expanded beyond organza. The company began working with new fabrics, personalized prints, and various sizes, broadening the use of personalized packaging in different segments.

This advancement helped the brand move from a local operation in Alagoas to serving customers in various regions of the country. What started with a simple item became a product line aimed at recurring orders and large-scale production.

Shopee accelerated sales throughout Brazil

Camilla Domingos has been selling on Shopee since the platform’s e-commerce activities began in Brazil. According to the entrepreneur, she posted an ad to test, saw results, and started listing new products.

The presence in the marketplace expanded the reach of LC Saquinhos. Instead of relying solely on the local market, the company began connecting personalized packaging to buyers from different states, using the digital environment as a showcase and sales channel.

Company sells 35,000 units per month

The Sebrae News Agency reports that LC Saquinhos sells 35,000 units per month throughout Brazil. This data shows the scale the business reached after expanding the line and strengthening its digital presence.

Besides the sales volume, the company earns about R$ 60,000 monthly and employs 14 workers in production. These numbers indicate that the operation moved from a domestic format to sustaining a business structure.

Shopee award placed the company among finalists

In 2024, Camilla Domingos appeared among the finalists for the Shopee “Woman of the Year” award, held in partnership with the Women Entrepreneurs Network. The initiative aimed to recognize 15 businesswomen from the marketplace in categories related to digital transformation, social impact, and performance.

According to the source, Camilla saw the award banner when accessing the day’s orders and registered in June 2024. The final was scheduled for November 21 of that year, with cash prizes and Shopee Ads credits for the top performers.

TikTok Empreende also recognized the journey

Before the Shopee final, Camilla had already achieved another recognition. In July 2024, she won the TikTok Empreende award alongside Clarissa Barbosa, owner of Clarissa B. Handmade Jewelry.

The contest recognized entrepreneurs who were expanding their businesses through promotion on the app. In the case of LC Saquinhos, the digital presence appears as part of the growth strategy, not just as a posting channel.

Sebrae Delas followed the business in Alagoas

Camilla Domingos is a client of the Sebrae Delas Program, an initiative aimed at promoting female entrepreneurship in Alagoas. Analyst Érica Pereira, program manager, highlighted to ASN that the state has excelled in entrepreneurship contests, especially due to the role of women in management.

Institutional support is part of the environment that helped the entrepreneur gain visibility. The story combines a simple product, marketplace, awards, and production organization, showing how digitalization can expand local businesses.

Customized packaging became a national operation

The case of LC Saquinhos shows that small companies can scale up when product, digital channel, and production work together. Customized packaging started as an income alternative but became the foundation of a company with national sales.

The trajectory also reveals a change in Brazilian entrepreneurship: local brands can reach the entire country when they master marketplace, digital promotion, and high-volume service. The question is: how many small businesses can still grow if they better utilize digital platforms and organized production? Leave your opinion in the comments.
