Inaugural Voyage of Luxury Yacht Valued at Nearly US$ 1 Million Ends in Sudden Shipwreck Off the Northern Coast of Turkey
The owner of a luxury yacht valued at around US$ 940,000 experienced moments of tension off the northern coast of Turkey. The vessel measuring 85 feet (approximately 26 m), named “The Dolce Vento,” was launched for the first time on Tuesday, but the inaugural voyage ended in disaster.
After touching the water, the boat capsized and began to sink just hundreds of meters from shore. The incident did not result in any injuries, as everyone on board was able to reach dry land.

There is still no official explanation for the shipwreck. Boat International reported that an investigation has been launched to determine the reasons for the accident.
Meanwhile, local media outlets attribute the problem to a possible stabilization failure.
Therefore, it remains for the authorities to clarify how a newly-launched vessel ended up sunk on its first contact with the sea.
