Seconds later, the images show a flash in the trunk. The fire engulfed the vehicle, while the driver got out, moved away, and tried to remove any trace of flame from his clothes.

Taxi driver was taken to the hospital
After leaving the car, the taxi driver walked a few meters away from the flames. A motorcyclist passing by stopped to help him and called emergency services.
Teams from the Bahía Blanca Patrol Command, firefighters, Civil Defense, and health professionals arrived. The driver was taken to the Dr. José Penna Interzonal Hospital.
He received treatment for minor injuries and a nervous breakdown. Despite the scare, he remained out of danger. The vehicle was damaged and will need repairs before returning to work.
CNG System Under Investigation
The main hypothesis being investigated is a failure in the installed CNG system. A leak in the cylinder may have caused gas accumulation and subsequent detonation, but the causes are still under investigation.
