The Payment of Bolsa Família Was Anticipated for Some People Who Receive the Benefit. In Total, Residents of 85 Municipalities Met the Requirement That Resulted in This Anticipation.
The Payment of the Bolsa Família Started This Friday (16), a federal government assistance program. Traditionally, payments are made based on the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS) of the benefit card.
However, the federal government revealed this Friday the anticipation of payments for people residing in 85 municipalities that are in a state of public calamity, located in five states. Of these cities, 62 are in Rio Grande do Sul, ten in Rio de Janeiro, seven in Sergipe, three in Paraná, and three in São Paulo.
In a statement, the federal government said that “the breaking of the staggered calendar allows beneficiaries facing difficulties caused by climatic events or other disasters to use the funds on the first day of transfers”.

Bolsa Família: Calendar in February
As mentioned, the Bolsa Família is distributed based on the last digit of the NIS. Therefore, funds are released first for those with NIS ending in 1 and so on.
Today, Bolsa Família payments are made through the Caixa Tem app. This happens during the last ten business days of each month. This rule is only changed in December, when the benefit is deposited earlier.

Who Can Receive and the Amount of the Benefit
Today, people who meet the requirements can receive the Bolsa Família, such as having a monthly income that does not exceed R$ 218 per person. Another requirement is to be registered in the Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico).
Since last year, the Bolsa Família provides at least R$ 600 per family. In addition to this amount, beneficiaries receive an extra amount (R$ 150) for each child up to six years old.
Another additional benefit of the Bolsa Família is the R$ 50 given when there are family members aged between seven and 18 years old. Women who are pregnant and, of course, registered in the family, also receive this additional amount.
Finally, in order to further enhance the benefit, at the end of last year, the federal government created the Family Nutritional Variable Benefit. With this, families with babies up to six months old now receive R$ 50 every month.
