Free Courses in Canada Focused on the Labor Market Last 1 and 2 Years
The Canadian school Toronto School of Management (TSoM), focused on management and business, is currently accepting applications with 100% scholarships for four courses: Business Administration with Co-op, Business Management with Co-op, Business Management, and Digital Business Management with Co-op. The free courses last one and two years, with the classes aimed at those who wish to graduate focusing on the labor market, and also include immersive experiences in companies.

The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship Fund was established to honor the former director of Global University Systems, the company linked to Toronto School of Management that funds the scholarships.
The initiative for free courses aims to continue Sherryl’s wishes and “guide the success of empowered individuals,” as described on the institution’s website.

Selection Criteria
According to the TSoM website, the criteria for selecting scholarship recipients for the free courses are:
- The overall quality of the application, with “clear demonstrations of ‘passion’, ‘direction’, ambition, and business/entrepreneurial insight”;
- The apparent need for funding;
- The goals and progress that the student will achieve by receiving the scholarship.
Applications for the scholarship programs for free courses must be made through the TSoM website, which has a team available to answer questions from interested candidates.
To apply for the free courses, one must demonstrate proficiency in English (IELTS or equivalent tests) and pass the specific English assessment of TSoM, as well as take an online test lasting 8 minutes, in which the student needs to answer 30 questions.

Diploma in Business Administration with Co-op
The free course with scholarship is divided into two phases: 24 weeks in the classroom and 24 weeks of co-op education alongside supporting companies. The goal of the course is to teach the skills, tools, and foundational knowledge for effective business operation management, as well as recognizing efficiencies and increasing productivity. Similar to the first course mentioned, this one is separated into two phases: 48 weeks in the classroom and 24 weeks of co-op education with the supporting companies. The course aims to teach interdisciplinary skills for pursuing an international business management career, leadership, and problem-solving. More information about the course can be found here.
Diploma in Digital Business Management with Co-op
The course is also divided into two phases: 36 weeks in the classroom and 36 weeks of co-op education with partner companies. The goal is to teach fundamental business strategies and industry-recognized methods for managing people, as well as understanding the role of technology and digital literacy in solving challenges.
