Last Thursday, during an event by the Brazilian Petroleum Institute (IBP), the president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, shared ideas with the government to stimulate the shipbuilding sector and it was soon announced that a new government program to incentivize the industry, broader and more sophisticated, will be launched by the end of the first semester.

Furthermore, Petrobras plans to contract 38 offshore support vessels in the coming years, representing an investment of US$ 2.5 billion and the possibility of creating 28 thousand direct jobs.
For this year, we have bidding processes planned for 31 vessels, while the others are scheduled for 2025.
