New public panel of IRPF 2026 allows consultation of consolidated data by profession, income, assets, state, age, and profile of declarants, without identifying taxpayers.

The Federal Revenue released, on Thursday, July 2, 2026, a new statistics panel of the Individual Income Tax 2026.

The tool gathers information from the declarations submitted in 2026, referring to the base year 2025, while preserving the tax confidentiality of taxpayers.

The system allows consultation of data by profession, income, assets, state, age, gender, race, and color.

Among the first results, notary holders appear at the top of the ranking for the highest average assets declared in the IRPF 2026.

According to the Federal Revenue, this group reported, on average, R$ 3.28 million in assets. The overall average of declarants was R$ 409 thousand.

Ranking shows professions with the highest average declared assets

The panel highlights occupations with higher average assets among taxpayers required to declare Income Tax.

See some of the highest averages reported in the IRPF 2026:

  • Notary holders: R$ 3.3 million;
  • Members of the Judiciary and Public Prosecutor’s Office: R$ 2.9 million;
  • Diplomats and related: R$ 2.5 million;
  • Athletes and sportspeople: R$ 1.7 million;
  • Industrial company executives: R$ 1.7 million;
  • Agricultural producers: R$ 1.6 million;
  • Central Bank and CVM employees: R$ 1.4 million;
  • Doctors: R$ 1.4 million;
  • Public attorneys and prosecutors: R$ 1.2 million;
  • Lawyers: R$ 1.1 million.

The Federal Revenue emphasizes that the values do not represent all professionals in these areas.

The data considers only taxpayers required to submit the Income Tax 2026 declaration.

Panel brings together income, refund, and taxpayer profile

The new platform allows cross-filtering and observing different segments of the IRPF 2026 database.

The taxpayer can consult information by income range, state, age, gender, race, color, and professional occupation.

The tool also presents data on tax to refund, tax to pay, amended returns, pre-filled declaration, and choice between simplified or complete model.

According to the Federal Revenue, protection mechanisms prevent the individual identification of filers.

Statistics are displayed only when they meet minimum security criteria.

IRPF 2026 had the highest volume of declarations ever recorded

The Federal Revenue received 44.498 million declarations of Income Tax in 2026.

The number exceeded the initial estimate of 44 million and marked the highest volume ever recorded by the agency.

Of the total processed:

  • 56.1% of taxpayers have tax to refund;
  • 23% will have tax to pay;
  • 21% showed no balance;
  • 8.1% of the declarations were amended.

Data enhances transparency on the fiscal profile of filers

The public panel enhances access to consolidated information on income, assets, and economic profile of filers.

The database can also support statistical analyses in the accounting and fiscal area.

Freelancers, public servants, rural producers, and entrepreneurs are among the groups that can be observed through the available filters.

The Federal Revenue emphasizes that the information is anonymized and intended exclusively for statistical consultations.

The panel is available for free on the official portal of the Federal Revenue.
