Bugatti is about to redefine the limits of automotive performance with the launch of its newest supercar, which will succeed the iconic Chiron. Set to be unveiled globally on the upcoming 20th, the new model comes with a V16 hybrid engine developed in partnership with Cosworth, promising incredible 1,800 hp of power, according to Webmotors.
Revolutionary Engine In The New Bugatti Vehicle
Unlike previous models that used W engines, the new Bugatti will adopt a V16 engine, with 16 cylinders arranged in a “V” shape. The performance specifications of the new Bugatti are impressive. According to information from forums and leaks on the web, the car will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 5 seconds and 300 km/h in less than 10 seconds. The top speed will be electronically limited to 446 km/h, with the goal of reaching 400 km/h in 25 seconds.
Advanced Technology Present In The New Vehicle
The hybrid powertrain is not the only innovation of the new Bugatti vehicle. The model will feature a dual-clutch automated transmission with eight gears, ensuring fast and efficient shifts. Furthermore, the aerodynamic design and advanced technological solutions promise to make this supercar a masterpiece of engineering and design.
This launch will be particularly notable as it will be the last project designed by Achim Anscheidt, Bugatti’s design director since 2004 and responsible for the creation of the legendary Veyron and Chiron. Anscheidt will retire after the unveiling of this new model. Frank Heyl, his successor, described the car as “incredible in terms of proportion, technology, innovation, and unpredictability,” promising that “it will blow people away.”
