BYD announced ambitious plans for the national automotive market. Less than a week after presenting its electric model BYD Tan in Brazil, the brand stated that it is working to implement a network composed of 35 electric car dealerships in major cities of Brazil, which are expected to be ready by the end of next year, generating thousands of jobs. In these BYD dealerships, customers will not only be able to purchase the brand’s electric models but will also be able to acquire the complete charging solution with solar panels.

First Of The 35 Dealerships Will Be In SP
In the electric car sector, the EuroBike group was named the first dealership of BYD Brazil. The unit, which promises to generate several jobs, will be located in the capital of SP on one of the main sales avenues for premium models, Avenida Europa.
With operations expected to begin in the first half of next year, the group will open dealerships and create jobs also in Brasília and Ribeirão Preto. However, the expansion of the network is already planned, and other dealerships are expected to be announced in a short period of time.

According to the commercial director of BYD Brazil, Henrique Antunes, more than 20 of the largest national dealership groups have already shown interest in representing the brand.
Get To Know The BYD Models Coming To Brazil
Already in pre-sale, the first batch of the BYD Tan will arrive in the national market during the first half of next year, with sales expected to start in January.
Loaded with equipment, the electric car has a range of 437 km and delivers a power of 517 horsepower, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 km/h.
In addition, the Chinese brand also confirmed the launch of other models next year, such as the BYD Han, the brand’s top-of-the-line electric sedan. With an imposing style and attractive design, the model stands out for its high performance, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Third Model May Be On The Way
In the last month, another vehicle from BYD was spotted testing in São Paulo, the BYD D1, an electric model recently launched in the Chinese market. The vehicle measures 4.93 m in length, 1.85 m in width, and 1.65 m in height. Its electric motor provides a torque of 18.3 kgfm and a power of 130 horsepower.
The electric model can still reach a top speed of 130 km/h. The electric car is also equipped with the brand’s new 53 kWh blade batteries, delivering a range of 418 km on a single charge.
So far, the main attraction of the BYD vehicle is its versatility and spacious interior. With various technologies, the model may come equipped with a level 2 autonomous driving system, an artificial intelligence steering wheel, and several other features.
