The Nissan N7, electric sedan already sold in China, was seen testing in São Paulo and raises expectations for launch in Brazil. With a range of up to 635 km, it features smart seats and an affordable initial price in its home market.
The Nissan N7, 100% electric sedan launched in China with an initial price of 119,900 yuan (around R$ 76 thousand), was spotted testing on the streets of São Paulo.
The sighting, published on Instagram by @bydbatido, reignited expectations for the model’s arrival in the country this week.
Nissan confirms that the N7 was designed as a global model, but has not yet announced the markets that will receive it outside China.

Sighting in São Paulo and Global Plan
A camouflaged unit circulated in the capital, indicating that the brand is evaluating the sedan in national territory.
Meanwhile, the strategy of the manufacturer provides for exporting vehicles made in China starting in 2026, with the N7 among the main models, although the inaugural countries are not yet defined.

For now, there is no official confirmation about the launch in Brazil.
Large Sedan Dimensions
The N7 measures 4.93 m in length, 1.895 m in width, and 1.487 m in height, with a wheelbase of 2.915 m.
The proportions are of a large sedan and tend to favor interior space, rivaling in length with models larger than the traditional mid-size sedans sold here.
Range, Batteries, and Performance
The lineup offers two batteries, 58 kWh and 73 kWh, combined with front motors of 160 kW (218 hp) or 200 kW (272 hp).
In the CLTC cycle, the declared range varies from 510 km to 635 km, with the maximum range associated with the 73 kWh package.
This configuration places the N7 among the medium electric vehicles with the greatest range in its price range in China.
Driver Assistance Technology
From the early versions, the sedan features an ADAS Level 2 package, including adaptive cruise control and lane keeping and change assist.
The assisted driving architecture is developed in partnership with Momenta, a Chinese company specialized in intelligent driving algorithms.
Minimalist Interior and Digital Screens
Inside, the N7 adopts a minimalist design, with most controls concentrated on the 15.6’’ multimedia center and the 8.8’’ digital instrument panel.
The gear selector and driving modes are located on the steering wheel, reducing buttons on the console and doors.
The system runs on Nissan OS and, in the higher versions, uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor.
Seats with Artificial Intelligence
One of the highlights is the AI Zero-Pressure Cloud seats, which feature 49 sensors to map occupant posture and adjust support automatically.
Nissan and its joint venture partner detailed that the system uses a posture algorithm trained based on real data and receives OTA updates for continuous improvements.
Advanced LED Lighting

At the front, thin LED daytime running lights integrate into the hood, while the main headlights are positioned lower, forming an angular visual element.
At the rear, the continuous light bar displays the brand name and allows for configurable light patterns.
There are 710 LEDs in the front and 882 in the rear, creating a dynamic lighting language.
Relationship with the Dongfeng eπ 007
The N7 is a product of the Dongfeng-Nissan partnership and shares its base and dimensions with the Dongfeng eπ 007, from which design solutions and part of the technology package are derived.
The development and production take place in China, within Nissan’s medium-term plan to accelerate electrified launches in the local market.
Versions and Prices in China
The Chinese lineup consists of five versions, all with an extensive list of equipment for the segment.
In addition to driving aids, the N7 offers comfort features typical of higher categories, such as massage in the seats, advanced climate control, and remote software updates.
Prices range from 119,900 to 149,900 yuan.
Sales and Demand in the Chinese Market
Since its launch, the sedan has seen strong demand. In June 2025, Nissan reported 17,215 orders in the first month of sales, and subsequently, the volume exceeded 20 thousand units in 50 days.
The numbers indicate that the N7 has helped the brand regain traction in the Chinese market.
Possible Arrival in Brazil
If there is an import, the N7 should be above the Sentra in size and power. There is no price for the Brazilian market.
For context, the Sentra Exclusive currently costs R$ 195,890, which suggests a higher range for an electric sedan of this size if it were to come to the country, but Nissan does not comment on local values or timelines.
With a declared range of up to 635 km, a tech-driven interior, and an aggressive price in China, the N7 would have space in Brazil among midsize and large electrified sedans; the question is when — and if — Nissan decides to include the country in the model’s export route; do you think the N7 would find an audience here?
