Consumers are increasingly aware of energy efficiency. Moreover, the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV) reinforces this trend by presenting results that directly influence daily costs. Additionally, factors such as weight, engine size, and transmission remain crucial to reducing fuel expenses.

The Renault Kwid 1.0 Zen emerges as one of the most economical subcompacts evaluated by Inmetro in 2023. This is due to its weight of 780 kg, its narrow body, and its height of 18.5 cm favoring urban use. Furthermore, the trunk space of 290 liters enhances practicality.

According to Inmetro 2023, it records 10.3 km/l in the city and 10.8 km/l on the highway with ethanol. With gasoline, it achieves 14.9 km/l in urban areas and 15.6 km/l on the highway.

The Fiat Mobi Like, designed for urban use, features compact dimensions. It measures 3.57 m in length and has a wheelbase of 2.30 m. Moreover, the trunk has 235 liters, which enhances practicality.

The 1.0 three-cylinder engine delivers 75 hp with a five-speed manual transmission. Inmetro 2023 indicates 9.7 km/l in the city with ethanol. On highways, it achieves 10.4 km/l. With gasoline, it records 13.5 km/l in urban areas and 15 km/l on the highway.

Inmetro 2023 records 9.1 km/l in the city with ethanol. On highways, it achieves 10.1 km/l. With gasoline, the numbers reach 13 km/l in urban areas and 14.4 km/l on highways.

The Chevrolet Onix, in its naturally aspirated or turbo versions, enhances efficiency by combining a wheelbase of 2.55 m and a trunk space of 275 liters. Additionally, the six-speed manual transmission improves fuel consumption utilization. It also stands out for its good range of equipment.

Inmetro 2023 indicates 9.9 km/l in the city with ethanol. On highways, it achieves 11.7 km/l. With gasoline, it reaches 13.9 km/l in urban areas and 16.7 km/l on the highway.
