- Volkswagen’s hybrid cars will feature the eTSI system, a mild hybrid of 48 volts already used in Volkswagen models in Europe.

1.5 TSI Evo: Cutting-Edge Technology
The 1.5 TSI Evo engine will be the heart of this new line of hybrid cars. As part of the EA211 family, it is an evolution of the 1.4 TSI engine and brings several innovations:
- Variable Geometry Turbocharger: Improves efficiency, especially at low revs.
- Miller Cycle: Ensures greater fuel efficiency.
- Active Cylinder Deactivation: Optimizes performance under different driving conditions.
In Europe, the engine is approved for 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque, figures that may be exceeded in the national flex version.
