The Honda City Sedan 2025 Arrives With Significant Discounts for PcD, Maintaining Good Sales Performance and Offering a Complete Equipment Package, Interior Space, and Efficient Fuel Consumption. The Model Ranks Among the Top Compact Sedans in Brazil.

The Honda City Sedan 2025 is available for individuals with disabilities with a discount of over R$ 14,4 thousand on the entry-level version.

With the exemptions and discounts applied, the LX configuration drops from R$ 117,500 to R$ 103,079.66, making it one of the most aggressive offers in the category for those who qualify under the PcD rules.

Although it does not lead the segment, the model ranks among the best-selling cars in the country for the year, occupying the fifth position.

A total of 11,777 units of the City Sedan were sold, behind the Fiat Cronos (17,842), Hyundai HB20S (19,820), Volkswagen Virtus (24,682), and Chevrolet Onix Plus (29,300).

The performance reinforces the sedan’s presence in the market and helps explain the focus on attractive packages for direct sales.

PcD Discounts and Prices by Version

In addition to the LX, the other versions also feature significant reductions. The EX has a discount of R$ 6,746.19, reaching R$ 128,253.81 for PcD. Without exemptions of ICMS and IPI, the suggested public price is R$ 135,000.

Next, the EXL appears at R$ 135,189, a difference of over R$ 7,100 from the listed price of R$ 142,300.

At the top of the line, the Touring costs R$ 143,264.25, which is over R$ 7,500 below the list price of R$ 150,800.

The final prices vary according to each customer’s exemption profile, but the presented levels indicate an effort by the brand to enhance the sedan’s competitiveness among PcD consumers.

Standard Equipment and Safety

Even in the basic configuration, the City already brings a set of items compatible with family use.

The LX comes with six airbags, multiview rear camera, emergency braking assistance (EBA), hill start assist (HSA), and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS).

In the EX, the package evolves with an electronic parking brake integrated with Brake Hold, which keeps the car stationary at stoplights or in traffic until the driver resumes acceleration.

The version also includes Honda Sensing, a suite of driving assist technologies that adds active safety features, plus an 8-inch multimedia center with smartphone interface and a wireless charger for compatible phones.

The EXL adds comfort and convenience items for everyday use.

Among them are blind spot monitoring assist, leather seats, automatic digital air conditioning with rear vents, and mirrors with LED turn signals and automatic folding.

In the most complete version, the Touring includes front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual-zone digital air conditioning with ventilation for the second row.

Powertrain and Fuel Consumption

The entire lineup is equipped with a 1.5 16V naturally aspirated engine paired with a CVT with seven simulated gears.

In terms of efficiency, the setup delivers competitive numbers for the model’s size. With ethanol, the sedan registers 9.2 km/l in the city and 10.5 km/l on the highway. With gasoline, the averages rise to 13.1 km/l and 15.2 km/l, respectively.

The proposal favors smooth driving and fuel economy, supported by the CVT’s behavior.

Interior Space and Trunk

The sedan has been designed to cater to families and those who travel a lot daily. The wheelbase of 2,600 mm helps provide good legroom in the second row.

The practically flat central tunnel makes life easier for those traveling in the middle seat. For luggage, the trunk capacity of 519 liters accommodates generous volumes.

The capacity falls slightly short compared to some competitors, such as the Volkswagen Virtus (521 l) and the Fiat Cronos (525 l), but remains among the largest in the segment.

Connectivity, Driving, and Urban Use

In the convenience package, the multimedia center with smartphone mirroring and the availability of induction charging starting from the intermediate versions reinforce the focus on connectivity.

In urban circulation, features such as Brake Hold and the multiview rear camera make maneuvering and frequent stops simpler.

The paddle shifters, present from the EX version onward, allow simulating gear changes when the driver desires greater control during descents or overtakes.

What’s New in the 2025 Lineup

The City Sedan and hatch underwent visual and content updates in the 2025 lineup, launched in October 2024.

The renewal incorporated items that are now widespread across the range, such as the electronic parking brake (EPB), Brake Hold, and the wireless charger for smartphones.

Along with the equipment upgrade, the structure of versions was maintained: LX, EX, EXL, and Touring, all with the same 1.5 naturally aspirated engine and CVT with seven simulated gears.

Honda City 2025 offers discounts of up to R$ 14,4 thousand for PcD, with versions equipped, good interior space and efficient fuel consumption.

Where the City Stands in the Segment

The sales figures show that the compact sedan market remains competitive, with leadership alternating among traditional brands.

In this scenario, Honda’s strategy with the City focuses on cost-benefit and driver assistance packages as differentiators for those prioritizing safety, fuel efficiency, and predictable maintenance.

The offering of specific discounts by version within the PcD program broadens the product’s reach and aligns with the trend of brands directing campaigns and inventories toward this audience.

Considering the prices, content, and declared consumption, the City stands as a rational alternative for those needing a comfortable sedan for urban and highway use, without sacrificing a spacious trunk and assistance technologies.
