The Federal Institute of Triangle Mineiro Offers Courses in Spanish, French, English, and Libras, with Enrollment Open Until December 2.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triangle Mineiro (IF) is now accepting applications for 540 spots in free language courses.
Aimed at beginners, the courses are offered in face-to-face and distance learning (EAD) formats, covering various cities in the region.
The classes cover Spanish, French, English, and Libras and aim to empower young people and adults from the age of 13, with or without ties to the Institute.

Languages and Accessibility for All
The novelty this year is the inclusion of EAD classes in English, with 20 spots at the Patos de Minas Campus and another 20 at the Uberaba Campus. According to the announcement, the program seeks to promote inclusion and accessibility, reserving part of the spots for groups such as quilombolas, indigenous people, and individuals with disabilities.
In addition, 40% of the spots are reserved for the internal community of the Institute, while the remaining 60% are for the external public, promoting greater integration between the IF and society.
Available Courses

- Spanish: In-person at the centers of Ituiutaba, Uberlândia, and Paracatu.
- French: EAD and in-person in Uberaba and Campina Verde.
- English: EAD (Patos de Minas and Uberaba) and in-person in Uberlândia and João Pinheiro.
- Libras: In-person in Uberlândia, Patrocínio, and Ibiá.
Each class has between 20 and 30 spots, and the course load varies according to the language, lasting up to six months.
How the IF Selection Process Works
The selection will be conducted by electronic lottery, ensuring equal access to the spots. The drawing will take place on December 10, with live streaming online. The results will be announced on December 13, and enrollment will begin shortly afterward.
Applicants need to follow the stages of the selection process on the IFTM website, where the lists of selected candidates and information about enrollment documentation will also be available.
