Volvo, Known for Its Leadership in the Electric Car Segment in Brazil, Has Just Launched a New Entry-Level Version of Its C40 SUV Coupe, Promising to Shake Up the Market and Put Pressure on Competitors Like the Haval H6 GT.
The Volvo model, which was previously seen as a more expensive option, is now becoming a more accessible and competitive alternative.
The Volvo C40, with its sleek and modern design, measures 4.44 meters in length, 2.70 meters in wheelbase, 1.87 meters in width, and 1.59 meters in height.
The car, which weighs over 2 tons, offers a trunk capacity of 413 liters. The adaptive full LED headlights and the distinctive closed grille of the electric models from Volvo are some of the visual highlights.

Performance and Range of the New Volvo
The new Plus version of the C40 features a rear electric motor with 238 horsepower and 33.6 kgfm of torque. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 160 km/h.
The 69 kWh batteries provide an impressive range of up to 385 km, according to Inmetro, and charging can be done in about 30 minutes at a fast charger.
Interior and Equipment of the C40 SUV
On the inside, the C40 focuses on a minimalist design and offers high-quality finishes. The interior space is comfortable for five adults, and the equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, Harman Kardon Premium sound system, wireless phone charging, among others.
The new C40 Plus does not skimp on safety features. The model comes equipped with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, collision warning, emergency autonomous braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, among others.
Price and Availability: Volvo’s Bet to Conquer the Market
The new Plus version of the C40 hits the market with a price of R$ 314,000, positioning itself as a more affordable option compared to the Twin Ultimate version, which costs R$ 429,900.
With this strategy, Volvo hopes to attract customers who previously considered the model unattainable, increasing its competitiveness in the growing electric SUV market.
