The long-awaited publication of the contest for Caixa is approaching. According to a report from the portal “G1”, representatives of the category are pressuring for the number of vacancies for the exam to be increased before this publication.

Today, these representatives consider the offer of 4,050 opportunities to be low. This is because, for them, this number will not meet the needs of the entity. In this sense, the request is for the number of vacancies to increase to at least six thousand, as mentioned in the report.

When Will The Caixa Contest Announcement Be Released?

According to information, internal procedures indicate that the announcement release should occur between February 16 and March 10. What is already known is that the organizing body of the Caixa contest will be the Fundação Cesgranrio, as the exam already has a signed contract.

So far, 4,050 vacancies have been confirmed by Caixa. These opportunities are distributed as follows:

Banking Technician: 2,000 vacancies;
Information Technology Area: 2,000 vacancies;
Occupational Physician: 28 vacancies;
Occupational Safety Engineer: 22 vacancies.

Only effective vacancies. It has already been confirmed that the announcement to be released soon will only contain effective vacancies. That is, there will be no reserve list for future vacancies to be filled.

Salary in the Caixa contest can reach R$ 14,000, depending on the level of education. In this sense, it is known that to compete for the position of banking technician, it is necessary to have a high school education, with an initial salary of R$ 3,762. In the case of higher education, for example, the starting salary for an occupational physician is R$ 11,186. The highest salary is for safety engineers: R$ 14,915.

The Last Contest of The Institution

The Caixa Econômica Federal has not held a contest for broad competition, for a banking technician, for example, since 2014. In the meantime, the institution held a specific selection for candidates with disabilities in 2021. At that time, there were 1,000 vacancies for immediate filling and 100 for a reserve list.

In the 2021 exam, objective and essay tests were conducted. The objective part had 60 questions on the following subjects: Portuguese language, financial mathematics, banking knowledge, and specific knowledge.
