Banco do Brasil, one of the largest financial institutions in the country, officially released the results of its latest public exam. This exam, which offered over 6,000 positions for the role of clerk, an intermediate-level position, has completed the homologation phase. Those who participated in the selection process now have the opportunity to verify the final results of the public exam.
Banco do Brasil May Make Hires Soon
After the official announcement of the results, on Friday, the 14th, Banco do Brasil stated that it has the discretionary power to make hires based on its interests and the needs of the service, always respecting budget constraints. The number of hires is limited to the number specified in Appendix II of the announcement for the formation of the reserve list.
Within the validity period of the exam, including any extensions, if any, the bank may make new calls and hires. The initial validity period is one year, starting from this Friday, the date on which the approved candidates were announced.

How Calls for Approved Candidates Will Be Made
According to Banco do Brasil, the calling of approved candidates will occur in a segmented manner by microregion, covering the vacancies for general competition and those reserved for people with disabilities (PwDs) and black candidates.
The first vacancy will be granted to the best-placed candidate in the general competition. The second will be allocated to the best-positioned participant in the reserve for PwDs, and the third to the first placed among black candidates. After these first calls, the remaining PwDs and black candidates will be called following a pre-established interval.
Banco do Brasil’s Exam Had 6,525 Positions for Clerk
In total, the last exam from Banco do Brasil made available 6,525 positions for clerks. There was a change in the number of vacancies due to the addition of 525 positions reserved for PwDs, raising the quota for this group from 5% to 12.5%.
Approved candidates will be hired under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), with an initial salary of R$5,436.03. Additionally, new employees will be entitled to benefits such as profit sharing, health and dental plans, private pension, childcare assistance, and assistance for children with disabilities.
