Correios Will Soon Open New Public Competition with Thousands of Vacancies. The Exam Will Hire Candidates with High School and Higher Education for the Position of Mail Carrier.
The Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company, or Correios, is a Brazilian institution known for its extensive delivery and posting service network. Recently, there was a turnaround regarding the company’s privatization, with the news that it will no longer be sold. With this decision, the agency has refocused on its internal activities and demands, including the holding of a new public competition to address the lack of employees. The Correios Competition is, therefore, an excellent opportunity for those seeking stability and a solid career in a recognized institution.
New Public Competition Will Have 5,000 Vacancies for Mail Carriers
The expectation is that 5,000 vacancies will be offered in the public competition for positions requiring High School and Higher Education, which has generated great anticipation among candidates throughout Brazil.
After much speculation about the privatization of the company, this news has brought a lot of hope to those seeking a stable job opportunity with good benefits, as Correios is one of the largest public companies in Brazil and has a long history of providing essential services to the population.

Correios Achieves Highest Financial Profit in 22 Years
After achieving the highest financial profit in the last 22 years in 2022, Correios employees received full inflation compensation in salaries, benefits, and positions. The news was announced by Floriano Peixoto, president of the federal public company.
The executive spoke about the salary negotiation approved by the company, which is now in effect. The president states that it was his initiative to engage in negotiations with the workforce to bring the best possible agreement forward.
According to the approved text, Correios employees received full compensation in salaries, benefits, and positions, which is a matter of justice and a constitutional duty of the company to its workforce, its greatest asset. Floriano explained that the adjustment was only possible due to the significant financial profit attained by the company in 2021.
