New Jeep Avenger Will Soon Arrive in Brazil as the Brand’s Most Affordable Model. With 130 HP, It Will Replace the Renegade.
Confirmed as the new most affordable model from Jeep in Brazil, the Jeep Avenger is ready to dominate the market, even surpassing the Hyundai Creta in popularity. Initially, at the beginning of 2023, Jeep Brazil decided against bringing the Avenger to the country, due to its proximity to the Renegade in terms of positioning. However, this year, Stellantis announced that Jeep will not launch a new generation of the Renegade, and the Avenger will take its place, including in the Brazilian market.
Jeep Avenger Gains Attention in the Market with the Promise of Being the Brand’s Most Affordable Model in Brazil
Here, the new Jeep Avenger has been confirmed and will be manufactured in Rio de Janeiro at the Porto Real plant of Citroen, where Stellantis will invest R$ 3 billion to produce the model alongside the new C3s.
The new Jeep Avenger is so good that it won the 2023 Car of the Year award in Europe. In dimensions, the new Jeep Avenger is clearly positioned below the Renegade. It measures 4.8 m in length, 2.56 m in wheelbase, 1.77 m in width, 1.53 m in height, weighing a light 1243 kg and accommodating up to 380 L of luggage in the trunk.

New Jeep Car Promises to Deliver Up to 130 Horsepower
Speaking of the powertrain, here, the new Jeep Avenger will use Stellantis’s national turbocharged engines and is expected to arrive with mild hybrid technology at the minimum.
The smallest of these is the 1.0 three-cylinder turboflex, which is currently found in various models such as the Fiat Fastback, Pulse, Strada, and even the 208, among other entry-level models, which will also equip the new 2008, arriving in the second half.

The small engine features direct fuel injection and delivers up to 130 horsepower and 20.4 kgfm of torque always associated with a CVT transmission with up to seven simulated gears. The model is also expected to have a 48V battery replacing the alternator for fuel economy.
A 1.3 turbo four-cylinder option with 185 horsepower and 27.5 kgfm of torque with a six-speed automatic transmission is not ruled out for a possible blackhawk sporty version, as seen in the Compass.

Inside, unlike the Compass and Renegade, which are cars full of distinct visual elements more geared towards off-road in the Renegade and luxury in the Compass, the new Jeep Avenger is much more minimalist and modern.

The finish, at least in the model sold in Europe, is good with quality materials on the dashboard and doors, which may vary when the car arrives here in Brazil.
The interior space comfortably accommodates four adults and one child. In terms of equipment, it has everything, including wireless phone charging, keyless entry, remote start, push-button gear selector, ambient LEDs scattered throughout the cabin, electronic parking brake, driving mode selector, multifunction steering wheel, configurable 10-inch digital dashboard, and much more.
The multimedia center is the famous Uconnect 10-inch system, which is a highlight and is positioned right at the center. At the top of the dashboard, we have a rearview camera, integrated GPS, as well as wireless connectivity for CarPlay and Android Auto.
