“The oil extraction will take place in the waters of the Whale Park, in the Campos Basin, but it is part of the territory of Espírito Santo. This will improve the state’s and municipalities’ finances, in addition to contributing to GDP (Gross Domestic Product),” explained Durval Vieira de Freitas, CEO of DVF Consulting.
According to Durval, the company should hire approximately 200 professionals directly. However, another 3,000 job positions are expected to be created in the supply chain, according to Durval.

Yinson Bergenia Is the 6th Largest in the World for Platform Leasing
According to Yinson Bergenia, the company that signed contracts last week with the Brazilian oil giant, it is the sixth largest in the world for platform leasing.
The project with the Yinson Production PTE group anticipates the interconnection of 17 wells to the FPSO, with nine oil producers and eight water injectors. The unit is expected to produce 100,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic meters of gas per day.
The operation is part of the Integrated Whale Park Project, which will be set up in the Jubarte Field, located in the northern part of the Campos Basin. The Whale Park area is made up of the Jubarte, Baleia Anã, Cachalote, Caxaréu, Pirambú, and Mangangá fields.
The first field, Jubarte, was discovered in 2001. Currently, four platforms are in operation: P-57, P-58, FPSO Cidade de Anchieta, and FPSO Capixaba, with the latter operating only until 2022.
