Aiming to expand its presence in oil and natural gas exploration campaigns in the Brazilian scenario, multinational OneSubsea recently signed an important contract. For this Tuesday, (10/04), the company is being hired by Petrobras for an amount between US$ 100 million and US$ 150 million for the supply of subsea Christmas trees. The equipment will be installed by the company in the state-owned company’s fields and will serve as support for the exploration campaign in Brazil.

The market for support services in oil and natural gas exploration has been growing significantly in recent years, and OneSubsea is now following the sector’s recovery.
The company has formed a partnership with state-owned Petrobras worth around US$ 100 million to US$ 150 million for the supply and installation of subsea Christmas trees in the oil company’s exploration fields.

Thus, the General Director of OneSubsea, Carlos Tadeu, celebrated the arrival of the company’s new contract in the national market and stated that this partnership opens up opportunities for strong growth in the oil and gas sector.
Moreover, he emphasized that the fuel exploration scenario is heading towards a more sustainable future and hopes that the company can contribute not only to Petrobras’ fields but to the entire national market.
Finally, the executive also highlighted that he sees new opportunities beyond Christmas trees, such as Hisep, a technology developed and patented by Petrobras for the separation and reinjection of CO2 present in oil in reservoir rocks.
