If you are looking for professional qualification, the Petrobras – Firjan SESI Public Notice No. 001/2024 offers an excellent opportunity for residents of Pernambuco. The program offers free courses aimed at professional training, with 740 spots available across technical qualifications and initial and continuing education.

What Is the Program’s Objective?

The free courses aim to empower individuals in situations of social vulnerability, providing financial autonomy and increased employability. All courses will be conducted in person, with activities such as practical classes, human development workshops, and seminars. The workload varies from 260 to 1,260 hours, depending on the chosen course.

How Many Spots Are Available and Where Are They Offered?

The notice offers 740 spots for technical courses, distributed among the SENAI centers in the locations of Santo Amaro, Areias, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, and Ipojuca.

How Will the Selection Process Work?

The selection for the free courses will be conducted through an electronic lottery, prioritizing groups in socioeconomic vulnerability, such as women, Black individuals, quilombolas, indigenous people, and transgender individuals, as well as people with disabilities or refugees. It is important to highlight that candidates who do not meet the affirmative criteria may enter a waiting list.

What Are the Requirements to Participate?

To enroll in the technical courses, you must be at least 18 years old, demonstrate the minimum schooling required for the course, and live close to the offer location. Additionally, a family per capita income of up to half a minimum wage is required. It is recommended to have internet access and valid documents for registration.

What Courses Are Offered?

Among the available technical courses are:

Professional Qualification: Civil Construction Assistant, Electrician, Industrial Plumber, Industrial Instrument Technician, Scaffolder, Boilermaker, Welder, among others.
Technical Courses: Mechanical Technician, Industrial Automation, and Electrotechnics.
