IF Baiano Opens Enrollment for Free Professional Qualification Courses FIC 2024. Digital Photography, Libras, Drone Operator and Much More!

The Federal Institute of Bahia (IF Baiano) announced the Edital No. 197/2024, which opens enrollment for Professional Qualification courses in the form of Initial and Continuing Education (FIC). These courses focus on professional qualification, offering an excellent opportunity for those who wish to enter or improve themselves in different sectors.

Course Objective and Workload

The FIC courses aim to train professionals and provide short-term training for various areas of the job market. The training will be conducted in face-to-face and distance learning (EAD, online), according to the nature of each course. The workloads vary between 20 and 40 hours and include activities such as theoretical and practical classes, seminars, forums, and assessments.

Selection Process

The selection process for the free courses offers participation opportunities for everyone, respecting affirmative actions. There is no quota system, but slots will be filled by order of enrollment. Therefore, the sooner the candidate enrolls, the greater the chances of securing a spot in professional qualification. Additionally, the criterion of older age will be used in case of a tie in filling the last spot.

Requirements for Course Enrollment

To participate in the selection process, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Have Incomplete Elementary or Secondary Education (depending on the course)
Access the online registration form
Present mandatory documents, such as identity document and CPF
Have internet access to take distance courses

The courses are completely free, and there is no charge for the registration or enrollment fee to secure professional qualification.

Registration Period: September 14 to September 22, 2024
Publication of the Enrolled List: September 23, 2024
Appeal Against the Enrolled List: September 24, 2024
Publication of the Final List: September 25, 2024

Enrollments for the free FIC courses at IF Baiano must be done online, through the link docs.google.com/forms. The deadline to enroll is until September 22, 2024.
