Agreement in Suzhou Enables Laboratory at Senai Ceará Focused on Practical Training in the Photovoltaic Sector

On October 20, the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará (Fiec), Senai Ceará, and the multinational GoodWe signed a technological cooperation agreement. The signing took place at GoodWe’s headquarters in Suzhou, China. Thus, the partnership provides for a training center dedicated to solar energy and storage.

Signing in Suzhou Brings Together Leaders

Ricardo Cavalcante (Fiec), Paulo André Holanda (Senai Ceará and Sesi), and Lucas Lu (GoodWe Solar Academy) were present. Additionally, André Montenegro, Dana Nunes, and Vanessa Yurie participated virtually. Likewise, Carlos Egberto Mesquita, Eric Yang, and Cameal Yu attended in person.

Statements Reinforce Professional Qualification

During the ceremony, Ricardo Cavalcante thanked the partnership. He emphasized the training of professionals ready for the new trends in the photovoltaic market. Thus, the commitment aims to unite industry and education, focusing on continuous training.

Laboratory Structure and Equipment

The technology laboratory will be installed at Senai Ceará. In addition, it will feature complete systems provided by GoodWe. Thus, the infrastructure will include grid-tied and hybrid inverters, storage solutions, and a carport with BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) solar modules.

Technical Training in All Stages

Thus, the training will encompass design, installation, monitoring, and maintenance of solar systems. Therefore, technicians and engineers will be prepared for all phases of photovoltaic projects. The focus is on practice, safety, and operational efficiency.

Convergence Between Education and Technology

For GoodWe, the initiative integrates education and technology. According to the company, theory and practice converge in the new learning environment. Thus, the cooperation strengthens the strategy for technological insertion in Brazil and South America.

Educational Impact at Senai Ceará

The regional director of Senai Ceará, Paulo André Holanda, highlighted the educational impact. Partnerships with cutting-edge companies elevate the level of technical education, he stated. Therefore, the space will simulate real situations in the sector and strengthen the regional ecosystem of solar energy.

Indicators of the Photovoltaic Sector

According to ABSOLAR, Brazil has surpassed 40 GW of distributed generation. Additionally, there are over 3.7 million systems in operation. The Northeast accounts for 58% of the power in centralized generation. Thus, the need for qualification to sustain the expansion is growing.

Schedule and Center of Excellence

The executive project is advancing at the Center of Excellence for Energy Transition Prof. Jurandir Picanço, at Senai Barra do Ceará. The start of activities is expected for 2025. Thus, technical courses, workshops, and update programs will be offered, focusing on innovation and sustainability.

A Step Toward the Future

With the Fiec–Senai Ceará–GoodWe cooperation, Ceará integrates technical training and applied technology and drives the energy transition. In light of this progress, the new laboratory will consolidate the Northeast as a showcase for photovoltaic training?
