Arqos Presents DISTRITQ, The Design Neighborhood Driven by Conscious Urbanism
Imagine a place where urbanism is not just a concept, but the guiding thread that unites design, architecture, and nature in perfect harmony. This is not an exaggeration, it is DISTRITQ! With 600,000 m² of urbanism certified and surrounded by 3.5 million m² of preserved nature, Arqos is bringing to life a neighborhood that promises to be a landmark in the Alphaville and Tamboré region.
A New Concept of Urbanism in Alphaville and Tamboré
The DISTRITQ is a revolutionary project, developed by the developer Arqos, that brings an innovative approach to conscious urbanism. With an urban plan developed by the Natureza Urbana office, the proposal is to create a planned neighborhood that meets the demands of its residents and local commerce, all with a strong sustainable footprint.
The project, which has been in development for two years, aims not only to highlight Brazilian authorial architecture but also to promote sustainable development through internationally certified constructions. The connection between the developments and the preserved nature around will be one of the main differentiators of DISTRITQ, ensuring that leisure spaces naturally integrate with the landscape.

Centralities and Mobility: The 15-Minute City Concept

One of the pillars of DISTRITQ is the 15-minute city concept, where everything residents need is within a short distance, either on foot or by active transportation. With three centralities designed to facilitate life in the neighborhood, the focus is to ensure that residences, commerce, and leisure areas are in perfect harmony.
Pedro Lira, the urban planner responsible for the project, highlights that one of the centralities will be the Boulevard, the neighborhood’s entry point. This space will be designed to promote interaction between condominiums and public areas, creating an inviting and dynamic environment.
In addition to the Boulevard, the Urbe, considered the main centrality, will feature a tree-lined avenue and contemporary urban furniture, connecting commercial and residential areas. To complement this, the Alameda will be an exclusive condominium with towers and houses, offering the most sophisticated in terms of architecture and leisure.
A Legacy of Conscious Urbanism
DISTRITQ is a project that seeks to leave a legacy for Alphaville and Tamboré. Felipe Chukr, CEO of Arqos, emphasizes that the goal is to transform the way people live, creating an urban experience where contact with nature is a priority. “We seek to structure our neighborhood through centralities, public spaces, and active transport routes, all amid preserved terrain. It is a grand project that will mark a new era of conscious urbanism“, declares Chukr.
With DISTRITQ, Arqos is creating a true milestone in the Brazilian urban landscape, where the balance between design, architecture, and nature will define the future of planned cities. If the future of urbanism has a name, it is DISTRITQ.
With DISTRITQ, Arqos is bringing a new perspective on conscious urbanism, where sustainability, design, and quality of life are priorities. Alphaville and Tamboré will never be the same again. But what about you, how do you imagine living in a neighborhood where nature and urbanism coexist in such harmony?
