New DNIT Contest Has Launched Its Announcement and Aims to Fill 100 Positions with Salaries Up to R$ 12 Thousand Monthly. Stay Updated on Job Openings, Exams, and Dates for the Public Contest!
The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) is holding a new public contest aimed at filling 100 higher education positions, in addition to creating a reserve list. There are positions available in 25 states of Brazil and the Federal District. The state of Piauí is the only exception.
Positions Open in the DNIT Public Contest
The DNIT contest is offering 100 vacancies for higher education positions, with 50 opportunities for Administrative Analyst (Administration, Accounting, and Information Technology) and 50 for Transport Infrastructure Analyst (Civil Engineering).
The public contest is organized by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), with registrations taking place between November 27 and December 26, at a cost of R$ 120. The evaluation of candidates is scheduled to take place through objective and discursive exams on February 18 of the following year, as well as a title examination and training course.

For the Administrative Analyst position (Administration), a degree in any field at the undergraduate level is required. For Accounting, a degree in Accounting Sciences at the undergraduate level is necessary.
For the Information Technology position, an undergraduate degree in Information Technology is required. For the Transport Infrastructure Analyst position, a degree in Civil Engineering at the undergraduate level is required. The salaries in the DNIT Contest are distributed as follows:
- Transport Infrastructure Support Technicians: from R$ 5,634.40 to R$ 6,141.49;
- Administrative Analysts: from R$ 9,444.63 to R$ 10,294.64;
- Administrative Technicians: from R$ 4,956.57 to R$ 5,402.71;
- Transport Infrastructure Analysts: from R$ 11,754.43 to R$ 12,812.32.
Check the Details of the DNIT Public Contest Stages
The first stage of the DNIT Contest will include Objective Exam, Discursive Exam, and Title Evaluation. The second stage will consist of a Professional Training Course, which is eliminatory. The objective and discursive exams will be held in all state capitals of Brazil, during the following shifts:
- Objective Exam – morning shift – 8 am to 12 pm (Brasília/DF time);
- Discursive Exam – afternoon shift – 3 pm to 6:30 pm (Brasília/DF time).
The Objective Exam will consist of 80 questions worth one point each for General Knowledge and 2 points for each question regarding Specific Knowledge. General Knowledge involves questions on Portuguese Language, Mathematical Logical Reasoning, and Basics of Public Administration.
The discursive exam of the DNIT Contest will consist of 2 dissertative questions of up to 20 lines each, on Specific Content related to the respective position or specialty, with a maximum value of 25 points each, and 1 essay of up to 30 lines, with a maximum value of 20 points. Lastly, the Title Examination will be worth a maximum of 10 points, even if the total value of the presented titles exceeds this amount.
