Responsibilities of the Offshore Electrotechnical Technician

The hired professional will be responsible for a series of technical activities related to the operation and maintenance of onboard equipment. Among the responsibilities are:

Direct action in vessel maneuvering situations or emergencies;
Compliance with technical guidelines as per the Permanent Orders of the Chief Engineer;
Inspection of lighting, communication, crane, winch systems, and other equipment in the engine room;
Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, electronic, and automation systems;
Reporting irregularities to the duty officer.

Practical experience with automation and control systems is highly valued, reinforcing the technical and analytical profile required for the position.
