The Vacancies of The New Contest Are Divided Into Different Positions and The Announcement Will Be Released Still in 2023

Authorized in May of this year, the highly anticipated contest of the National Indian Foundation (Funai) is approaching an important milestone. With the deadline for the announcement publication defined, those interested in joining the institution now have a clear goal to prepare themselves and secure a chance at the 502 available positions at the secondary and higher education levels.

Now, with the deadline for the announcement publication defined, the candidates’ expectations are increasing, and the search for information and study materials is intensifying. The contest will offer a total of 502 positions, covering different levels of education, which provides opportunities for a broad audience of candidates. To compete for the vacancies, interested parties must have qualifications at either the secondary or higher education level, as required for each position.

The definition of the deadline for the announcement publication is an important step in this selection process, as it indicates that Funai is following a strict schedule to ensure the transparency and efficiency of the contest. The Publication of The Announcement

It is important to emphasize that, since the date falls on a Sunday, the expectation is that the announcement will be published on the preceding Friday, October 27, or the following Monday, October 30. 

After receiving authorization for the contest, Funai promptly formed a committee to begin preparations. The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services granted the approval, and since then, the team has been dedicated to drafting the basic project of the announcement and choosing and hiring the exam board, responsible for evaluating candidates.

With the announcement to be published soon, candidates will have access to essential information, such as the requirements for each position, the syllabus of the tests, the complete timeline of the contest, and other important guidelines for proper preparation.

Possible Vacancies and Salaries of The New Contest of Funai

According to the last announcement of the contest, which took place in 2016, the available positions may be as follows: (remembering that the information provided below is based on the last announcement from Funai, from 2016. The announcement for the 2023 contest is not yet available)

Secondary Education;

  • Indigenism Agent: 152 vacancies are offered for this role, with a projected salary of R$5,349.07. Indigenism agents play a crucial role in promoting rights and protecting indigenous peoples, working in various areas;

Higher Education:

  • Administrator: There are 26 vacancies available for administrators, with a projected salary of R$6,420.87. Additionally, the contest may also offer vacancies for the positions of Anthropologist, Architect, Archivist, Social Worker, Librarian, Accountant, Economist, Engineer, Agronomist, Forestry Engineer, Statistician, Geographer, Specialized Indigenist, Psychologist, Sociologist, Educational Affairs Technician, and Social Communication Technician. Each of these areas has a specific number of vacancies, ranging from one to 152 opportunities. The projected salary for higher education positions is R$6,420.87.
