Odebrecht Engineering and Construction (OEC) continues to show signs of recovery. Originating from one of the largest construction companies in the country, the company will participate in an important event in Rio de Janeiro.
Rio Pipeline 2019 will feature experts from around the world and promote a qualified discussion on improving efficiency, quality, and safety in pipeline transportation, at a time when the government is promoting the opening of the gas market; this topic has been widely discussed in the market.
Odebrecht Engineering and Construction (OEC) will demonstrate its years of expertise in the sector at next week’s event in Rio de Janeiro.

The OEC booth will feature a pipelayer simulator, a type of crane adapted to an excavator developed by VOLVO, where visitors can simulate the assembly operation of the pipelines.
Another interesting topic addressed by Odebrecht will relate to an integrated safety project used during the construction of the Southern Peru Gas Pipeline.
The topic will be presented by the company’s Health, Environment, and Occupational Safety Manager, Fernando Resende, who will discuss a project that crosses more than 1,100 kilometers of jungle, mountain range, and desert, with altitudes ranging from sea level to 4,900 meters.
Odebrecht was even awarded in 2016 in France for using the system, receiving the IPLOCA Awards granted by the main association of builders in this segment.
Rio Pipeline takes place in Rio de Janeiro from September 3 to 5 at the Centro de Convenções Sul America on Avenida Paulo de Frontin, 1 in the Cidade Nova neighborhood. The congresses run from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, and the exhibition from 12 PM to 8 PM.
