The United States announces a revolutionary educational program in Brazil aimed at young Brazilian students from public schools. The free online courses (EAD), resulting from a collaboration between the U.S. Embassy, American consulates in Brazil, and the Glória Institute, focus on empowering women through specialized technical education, aiming to provide training in areas such as entrepreneurship, strategic planning, innovation, and social responsibility.

These free online courses (EAD) represent a bridge to the future. Over the course of six months, participants will work in teams to develop projects focused on the Circular Economy, receiving mentorship and participating in seminars on various relevant topics.

Who Can Participate in the Free Courses Offered by the United States?

This opportunity is open to female students aged 15 to 18 enrolled in federal, state, or nonprofit technical schools, marking an important step in the personal and professional development of these students.

When Do Classes Start?

Classes for the free courses start in May and extend until November, offering a robust EAD platform in addition to mentorship and seminars on various relevant topics that will ensure a borderless learning experience.

What is the Duration of the Course?

Designed to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century, the free courses of the Empowering Girls to Lead program (EML) comprise a six-month journey involving 20 teams, each made up of four students and one volunteer mentor.

The goal of the free courses? To develop innovative proposals based on the principles of the Circular Economy: reduce, reuse, and recycle.
