In July, Brazilian small and medium enterprises registered 113 thousand new employees. This is from a total of 142 thousand job openings. This means that smaller companies are more confident regarding the market and global economy.

In the last 7 months, micro and medium businesses have been positively increasing hiring compared to layoffs. The last month when layoffs were greater than hirings was December 2022, where this reaction from companies was naturally expected.
