Learn More About The Electric Bicycle “Capable of Climbing Mount Everest”
The R22 Everest Electric Bicycle, an off-road model, was revealed a few days ago by the manufacturer. According to Optibike, its electric bicycle model is equipped with two batteries, totaling a maximum supply of 3,260 Wh of capacity, which is about 6.5 times more power than the batteries found in cheaper electric bicycles.
The batteries are responsible for powering the 1,700-watt motor, perfectly capable of generating torque of up to 19.37 kgfm.

Electric Bicycle That Can Also Become An Electric Motorcycle?
Understand how the autonomy of the R22 Everest makes Optibike create a unique and attractive model.
The entire setup mentioned earlier provides the electric bicycle with an autonomy of 510 km, that’s with just one charge, in pedal assist mode and at a speed of up to 25 km/h, according to Optibike.
However, the electric bicycle can also function as an electric motorcycle. This was a technique developed by Optibike to give the bike rider a break, as it can be operated solely by the throttle, reaching a maximum speed of up to 58 km/h. The batteries used in the R22 Everest can also be removed and used separately.
The R22 Everest electric bicycle also features a dual crown front suspension with 200 mm of travel in the rear, ensuring a comfortable and stable ride, even on rougher terrain.
The electric bicycle capable of climbing Mount Everest also has a headlight of 2,700 lumens, sufficient for riding on trails at night, as well as a rear safety light and an LCD display that indicates the battery level, speed, and odometer of the bike.
Innovative And Unique, Yet Priced High
The excellent climber of Mount Everest may, however, scare off those who are interested in acquiring it.
The new electric bicycle from Optibike will cost a lot to interested buyers, especially due to the features and high technology offered by Optibike.
According to the manufacturer, the R22 Everest electric bicycle is being sold for US$ 18,900, equivalent to R$ 97,900 at the current exchange rate, in direct conversion from dollars to reais.
The price is high not only because of its various attributes but also due to the fact that the electric bicycle is only produced to order, being a model with a differential: it is hand-built at the Optibike factory, located in Colorado, United States.
