The inauguration was attended by the Governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema. The governor highlighted the importance of energy in attracting investments to the state. Additionally, Zema discussed the importance of the privatization of Cemig – Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais. Zema stated that “It is the only viable solution today. Another alternative would be an investment of R$ 15 billion in the company. The government cannot even pay its employees on time.”
Gustavo Malagoli Buiatti, founder and CTO of Alsol, stated that “We will reach an installed capacity of 27 MW peak.” He also added that Energisa’s initiatives aim to consolidate renewable energy through various sources across Brazil. Photovoltaics is one of the cleanest electrical sources and, when combined with other sources, such as hydropower or biomass, can be further strengthened. That is why Alsol will continue to invest heavily.”

The world has bet on green hydrogen as the fuel of the future, but now faces the side effect: producing 1 kilogram requires about 9 liters of ultrapure water, and the largest projects on the planet are precisely in the driest regions of the Earth, where water is already scarce for people.

Africa has about 500,000 cell towers and most still burn diesel to operate, while companies rush to cover antennas with solar energy and avoid signal blackouts.
Alsol is a company specialized in distributed generation and uses different renewable sources. A pioneer in the country in photovoltaic systems and energy storage, it currently has more than 500 projects in operation. There are about 25 MWp of photovoltaic systems in operation and another 15 MWp under implementation, in addition to 2.0 MW of biogas. The company is also present in 12 Brazilian states, generating clean and distributed energy. In 2019, Energisa took control of the company.
