Engeman Announced a Contract with Petrobras to Perform Maintenance, Revitalization, and Upgrade of the Overhead Crane at UTGCAB in Macaé.
Engeman, a company specialized in industrial services, announced that it has signed a contract with Petrobras to perform a series of services at the Cabiúnas Gas Treatment Unit (UTGCAB), located in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro. The contract has an execution period of 240 days and aims to carry out maintenance, revitalization, commissioning, and upgrades of the electrical and mechanical systems of the Overhead Crane at the U-330 Compressor Warehouse — TN-33001, within UTGCAB.
Engeman Performs Maintenance and Revitalization Services at UTGCAB for Petrobras
The services include detailing the engineering solution, supplying goods, application and consumption materials, electromechanical assembly, and commissioning.
In addition to formal instruction, preservation, conditioning, pre-operation, and start-up, as well as the adaptation of facilities and the REVAMP of the Overhead Crane.

UTGCAB is one of the largest natural gas processing units in Brazil, responsible for receiving, treating, and distributing gas from the Campos and Santos basins.
The unit produces four main products main: liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas (NG), C5+ (natural gas condensate), and LNG (liquid natural gas).
LPG, commonly known as cooking gas, is mainly used for cooking, while NG is used for industrial, residential, and vehicle applications.
C5+ and LNG are used as raw materials in the petrochemical industry and in the production of fuels such as gasoline and aviation kerosene.
