Petrobras has just announced the launch of the Autonomy and Income Program, an initiative aimed at offering places in free professional training courses in the areas of initial and continued training (FIC) and technical courses. Intended for people in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, the program marks a strategic partnership with SESI-SENAI and the Federal Institutes of Technology, Science, and Innovation, highlighting Petrobras’s commitment to training and professional insertion.
Partnership with SESI-SENAI and IFs Offers More Than 19 Thousand Places in Free Professional Courses
The Autonomy and Income Program is aligned with the guidelines of the Capacita PAC Program from the federal government, and its main objective is the training of individuals in situations of social vulnerability, as well as those without formal work ties.
The program will also prioritize marginalized groups, such as women, Black people, people with disabilities, and refugees.

Which States Will Benefit from the Autonomy and Income Program from Petrobras?
The first phase of the program will be implemented in the states of Pernambuco, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, and São Paulo, with Pernambuco receiving 37% of the available places.
In total, more than 19 thousand places will be offered in the covered states, encompassing FIC courses at SENAI and the Federal Institutes, in addition to opportunities for free technical courses, also provided at SENAI and IFs.
Benefits Offered to Those Selected for Free Courses
The selected participants in the selective processes conducted by SENAI and IFs will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 660 during the course period.
For women with children up to 11 years old, the scholarship will be R$ 858 per month.
In addition to financial support, the program offers supplementary benefits, including reinforcement in Portuguese and Mathematics subjects to enhance education, mandatory content covering Safety, Environment, and Health (SMS) to strengthen safety standards in works and operations, psychosocial support, and courses focused on the development of socio-emotional and personal skills.
These advantages reinforce Petrobras’s commitment to providing free professional courses to participants in the Autonomy and Income Program, effectively preparing them for the challenges of the job market.
