Imetame purchased Petrobras’s stake in the Lagoa Parda Hub last month; now, to increase production to 700 barrels/day of oil, the oil companies EnP and Imetame will work together to reactivate 29 wells in the field.
The Lagoa Parda Hub, in Espírito Santo, comprises three onshore concessions in production: Lagoa Parda, Lagoa Parda Norte, and Lagoa Piabanha. From January to August this year, the average production of the onshore fields was approximately 113.5 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 1.7 thousand m3/day of natural gas.
Along with the fields, the Lagoa Parda Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) was acquired, with a capacity of 1.25 million m3/day and a Liquid Treatment Station with a capacity of 25 thousand barrels daily. The companies intend to reactivate the UPGN and open access to third parties.
“We will work to put the UPGN back into operation as soon as possible. It is important for Espírito Santo, for the New Gas Market, and for Brazilian onshore,” commented EnP’s CEO, Márcio Félix.
