According to a note from the Norwegian company this Tuesday (11/10), there are three contracts for the Bacalhau field with an estimated value of 455 million dollars. In addition to 40% (operator), the Bacalhau field has as partners American ExxonMobil 40% and Portuguese Petrogal 20% and Pré-sal Petróleo SA (PPSA, Government Agency without investment).
The contract with Baker Hughes provides for drilling and completion services, while Halliburton will perform intervention and riser activities, and Schlumberger will be responsible for cable services.

According to the company, the Bacalhau project is in the maturation phase and is expected to have a final investment decision next year.
About the Bacalhau Field
- The discovery was made by Petrobras in 2012
- Equinor has been the operator since 2016
- Bacalhau will be the first greenfield project in the pre-salt developed by an international operator
- Located 185 km off the coast of Ilhabela, in the state of São Paulo, in a water depth of 2,050 meters
- Phase 1 development capacity of 220,000 bbls/d
- The first oil production is scheduled for 2024
