First Brazilian Nuclear Submarine Built by ICN and NUCLEP Named After Vice Admiral of the Brazilian Navy
The first nuclear-powered submarine built by ICN and NUCLEP has been named “Álvaro Alberto,” in honor of the Vice Admiral of the Brazilian Navy and Brazilian scientist – Álvaro Alberto da Mota e Silva. The ceremony took place at the Nuclear Generation Laboratory (Labgene), where the prototype is being constructed.

Young Apprentice Vacancies ICN Shipyard – SENAI
Requirements
- Age: 18 to 23 years.
- Education: Complete High School.
- Must have availability of schedule.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Have initiative and willingness to learn.
The ICN shipyard informs that the vacancies are preferably for residents of Itaguaí and nearby areas and that they are available for candidates who have not yet participated in the ICN Young Apprentice Program.
