Many job vacancies are coming! On the 06th, Ocyan won a tender by Petrobras to charter a rig in Campo de Mero
Ocyan won Petrobras' bid for the lease of a drilling platform dedicated to the Mero field, in the Santos cluster. The tender was launched in 2019 and formatted with a new model for submitting proposals. The bidding is divided into two phases, the first phase having the objective of delivering an offer with a non-fixed price, while the second phase was carried out in August to present the company's daily price.

Although Petrobras' public announcement considered the possibility of renting one or more drilling rigs for the project, it has not yet been confirmed that there is a second piece of equipment in the offer. At the moment, the Norbe VIII drillship will act. The unit closed at $200.
The drillship competed with at least five other drilling rigs. Ocyan itself provided several probes and also cited Norbe IX. The Norbe VIII lease agreement is valid for 425 days and can be renewed for 655 days.
“Soon, we will recruit more than 100 Members for a new project to provide routine industrial maintenance services for offshore units with the supply of equipment, materials and onshore support services. For the time being, we have the bank of future opportunities open, receiving resumes”, said the company in the statement.
