Certification Courses in 2024 for Agribusiness: Senar Is Open for Enrollment for More Than 430 Free Courses This October. Learn How to Participate!

The National Rural Learning Service of Santa Catarina (Senar-SC) announced the opening of enrollment for more than 440 free courses aimed at the agribusiness sector. The certification courses are part of the Rural Professional Training Program (FPR) and Social Promotion (PS) and cover various areas of interest in the sector.

List of Free Courses Open at Senar

This October, Senar offers the following certification courses:

Extreme West

  • Baking;
  • Harvesting Machines – Operation and Maintenance;
  • Gardener;
  • Issuance of Electronic Invoices for Rural Producers;
  • Fruit Growing – Orchard Management.

West

  • Rural Digital Inclusion – Basic Computer Skills 2;
  • Homemade Bread and Biscuit Production;
  • Effective Communication;
  • Chicken Meat Processing;
  • Smiling in the Field.

Midwest

  • Rural Learning: Administrative and Financial Assistant – E24;
  • Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Networks;
  • Fruit, Vegetable, and Spice Preserves;
  • Good Practices for Food Handling;
  • Artificial Insemination in Cattle;
  • Issuance of Electronic Invoices for Rural Producers;
  • First Aid – Workers in Health Promotion and Support Services;
  • Chainsaw – Operation and Maintenance in Tree Cutting.

North

  • Stockmanship in Cattle Breeding – Health Management;
  • Prevention of Accidents and Work-Related Diseases in Rural Work;

  • Basic Vegetable Growing;
  • Homemade Bread and Biscuit Production;
  • Pork Processing;
  • Leatherwork – Cuts and Types of Leather – Stage 2.

Itajaí Valley

  • Arts and Crafts with Painting;

  • Processing of Aged and Smoked Meats from Swine, Poultry, Sheep, and Cattle;
  • Rural Tourism – Valorization and Attractiveness of Local Gastronomy;
  • Good Practices for Food Handling.

Serrano Plateau

  • Hoof Trimming and Horseshoeing;
  • Chicken Meat Processing;
  • Weaving Crafts with Sheep Wool;
  • Aquaculture;

  • Embroidery Crafts;
  • Rural Tourism – Handcrafted Products as Tourism Resources.

South

  • Homemade Pasta Production for Freezing;
  • Issuance of Animal Transit Guides (e-GTA) and Origin of Plant Products (e-Origin);
  • Rational Training of Horses;
  • Processing and Preservation of Fish;
  • Rural Tourism – Warm Welcome in Rural Areas.

How to Enroll in Senar’s Certification Courses?

The training programs are part of the Rural Professional Training (FPR) and PS (Social Promotion) and cover various areas. The free courses are planned according to the specific needs of each region of the state, focusing on improving productivity, sustainability, quality, professional qualification, management, information, and integration of rural producers into the market.

The program includes certification courses in agriculture, agribusiness, aquaculture, agrosilvipastoral support activities, and service provision, livestock farming, and forestry.

In social promotion, training focused on education, community organization, health, food and nutrition, as well as handicrafts is offered. The complete list of training, along with information on dates and municipalities, can be checked on the Senar-SC website. Additionally, enrollments can be made at the Rural Union in your region.
