The Federal Institute of North Minas Gerais (IFNMG) announced the opening of registrations for 2,365 positions in free technical courses in locations such as Almenara, Araçuaí, Arinos, Diamantina, Itamarandiba, Datas, Janaúba, Januária, Montes Claros, Porteirinha, Pirapora, Salinas, and Teófilo Otoni. This is a great opportunity to study at IF in free courses with the right to a free certificate at the end of the course.

Participating in one of the free technical courses to study at IFNMG can open important doors in the job market. With the increasing demand for qualified professionals in various technical fields, those with a degree from a recognized institution are ahead. Moreover, technical training at the Federal Institute is of high quality, recognized throughout the state.

According to the Federal Institute, there are free technical courses for in-person training as well as for distance learning. Selection will be based on tests or curricular analysis, depending on the desired course. Among the free courses available to study at IF are:

How to Enroll in Free Technical Courses at the Federal Institute?

According to IFNMG, registrations for the programs are free and must be made online, through an electronic form. To complete the procedure, candidates must have access to a valid and active personal email account.

At the time of registration for free technical courses, it is necessary to provide the CPF number. For all courses, the reservation system, known as the quotas system, applies. The registration deadline varies according to the course and unit chosen.

Among the free courses are those that are integrated with high school education, meant for those who have completed elementary school by the date of enrollment. In the integrated format, the student, with only one registration, attends a course that combines high school knowledge and professional education skills, depending on the chosen area. The duration is three years.

For the concomitant and subsequent formats: The concomitant courses are offered to candidates who have completed the first year of high school and are regularly enrolled in the second or third year of high school at another educational institution in the year of entry into IFNMG.

The subsequent courses are intended for those who have already completed high school or will finish it by the date of enrollment at IFNMG.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of North Minas Gerais (IFNMG) was created on December 29, 2008, and its area of coverage comprises 194 municipalities in the regions of North Minas, Northwest Minas, Jequitinhonha, Mucuri Valley, and part of Central Minas.

The Institute offers medium-level technical courses, both in-person and distance, technical courses, PROEJA, FIC, higher education courses, and postgraduate courses. All are completely free. IFNMG is part of the Federal Education Network, consisting of 41 institutions present in all Brazilian states.
