Government Signs Agreement for Installation of Electric Motorcycle Factory and Distribution Center of Vertys Motors in Campina Grande, Paraíba.
Last Thursday, (03/27), a milestone for economic and social development in Paraíba was celebrated at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraíba, located in Campina Grande. The State Government, led by Governor João Azevêdo, signed an agreement with the Vertys Motors group, aiming to install a new electric motorcycle factory and an air conditioning distribution center in the city.
Vertys Motors, recognized for its operation in renewable equipment, is among the 10 largest suppliers in Brazil of products in this segment, in addition to standing out in the manufacturing of solar generation equipment.

This partnership between the Government and Vertys Motors for the construction of the new factory and distribution center represents an important step towards strengthening Paraíba’s economy, especially in Campina Grande.

During the event, Governor João Azevêdo highlighted the government’s commitment since 2019 to attract new companies to the state, aiming not only for economic growth but also for the generation of new jobs and technological development.

The choice of Campina Grande as the headquarters for the new factory and distribution center was based on its technological advancement, as well as the availability of qualified labor and research in the area.
The expectation generated by this agreement is significant.
It is estimated that, in the next three years, the revenue of the new factory will reach the impressive mark of R$ 856 million.
Creation of New Job Opportunities for Local Residents
Additionally, the installation of the Vertys Motors factory in Campina Grande promises to boost the creation of approximately 500 new job openings, both direct and indirect.
The final deadline set for the company’s establishment is the year 2027, during which it is expected that the factory will be fully operational and consolidated as a hub for electric motorcycle production and high-tech air conditioning distribution.
The partnership between the public and private sectors will certainly bring tangible benefits to the entire community, consolidating Campina Grande and the state of Paraíba as a prominent industrial hub on the national stage.
