The Zehus, an electric bicycle manufacturer from Italy, introduced at the CES 2023 its Bike+ kit, which turns conventional bicycles into electric bicycles that do not need to be plugged in to charge. This way, the cyclist can use the kit to convert their bike to electric without worrying about the battery running low or finding a nearby outlet.

Conversion Kit Provides A Range Of 35 Km And A 250W Motor

The best part of the kit for converting a bicycle to electric is that the cyclist will not need to pedal to generate this energy, as the Bike+ recovers the battery during deceleration and braking. According to the manufacturer, by generating energy while the user is not pedaling, the kit can reduce fatigue by up to 40%.

It Is Also Possible To Charge The Battery Of The Model From The Outlet, if the user prefers to use it in turbo mode. In its most powerful mode, the conversion kit from Zehus has a range of 35 km on a full charge.

In total, there are 5 electric assist modes, including two that can be personalized by the cyclist themselves. The motor of this kit for electric bicycles, which the user does not need to charge, has a power of 250W and a torque of 40 Nm, equivalent to a torque of 4.07 kgf.m.
