Prepare for a revolution in the Brazilian automotive market. Fiat announced this Friday (12) the price of the Grand Panda, the highly anticipated replacement for the iconic Uno. At an event marking the 125th anniversary of the Italian brand, CEO Oliver François revealed details that left Brazilians astonished.
Price That Dismays, But Promises Accessibility
During the event, François highlighted that the electric version of the Grand Panda will be sold for less than €25,000, or about R$159,600. This news was not well received in Brazil, where the Grand Panda will face strong competition from models like the BYD Dolphin.
The electric version of the Grand Panda, with 113 horsepower and a 44 kWh battery, is far from being the most economical option, as highlighted by François. However, Fiat promises more accessible options.

The new SUVs will follow the strategy of the New C3 in Brazil, offering a family model and a coupe. The pickup, a brand-new model both in the Brazilian and international markets, promises to surprise. With a size similar to that of the Montana, Oroch, and the future VW pickup, this new addition will mark a milestone in the hybridization of the automotive market in Brazil.
Grand Panda: The Renewal Of The Uno And Punto In A New Context
The Grand Panda represents an evolution of the classic Uno and Punto, adapted to the needs and expectations of modern consumers. Instead of an Elba/Weekend, we now have an SUV, and instead of a Premio/Siena, a crossover-coupe. The pickup, in turn, replaces the Fiorino/Strada with a new cabin model and larger size.
According to Fiat, this new family of vehicles is crucial for the company’s hybridization strategy in Brazil, aligning with the demands for more sustainable and efficient vehicles.
