Agreement Provides for the Supply of Photovoltaic Panels and Solar Trackers
FiberX Renováveis, a company that is part of the FiberX group, and Trina Solar – one of the largest industries in the photovoltaic energy sector in Brazil – have formed a partnership for the supply of photovoltaic modules and solar trackers that will equip a set of Distributed Generation plants with a total capacity to produce 100MWp, in different regions of Brazil.
The modules used will be from the Vertex 660W series, in rectangular format, the 210R, which was developed by Trina Solar itself and is becoming standard among the industries in the sector. The trackers [devices that change the position of the modules to follow the movement of the sun] will be of the Vanguard 1P model; robust equipment, certified by leading international laboratories, which presents high reliability and superior performance; even in adverse climatic and geographical conditions.
Good for Both Sides

New catalyst developed by scientists in the USA enhances the performance of water electrolysis without using platinum, reducing operational costs and expanding the potential of green hydrogen as a strategic alternative for industries, heavy transportation, and clean energy generation.
“This is the first partnership between the two companies involving the supply of integrated solutions,” comments Paulo Andrade, vice president of FiberX Renováveis.
The vice president for Latin America at Trina Solar, Alvaro García-Maltrás, highlights that still in 2023, a Trina Tracker factory for the local production of trackers will become operational in Salvador (BA), which will contribute significantly to meet demands in an even more agile manner, with a highly skilled technical team prepared to understand customer needs and present the most suitable solution on a case-by-case basis. “Trina Solar is confident in the growth potential of the Brazilian solar market and that is why we are investing in the country.”
Expansion
With this agreement, FiberX Renováveis strengthens its position in the photovoltaic energy market and delivers complete end-to-end solutions for the distribution of products to one of the fastest-growing sectors today.
The company already has partnerships with Celesc (Centrais Elétricas de Santa Catarina), with Copel (Companhia Paranaense de Energia Elétrica), and with Cemig SIM (subsidiary of Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais S.A.) where it performs the implementation of 27 solar plants in different cities and states, totaling about 165 thousand photovoltaic panels and generating more than 100MWp of power.
