The Program Aims at Young People in Situations of Social Vulnerability, with Courses in Administration and Logistics!
Firjan has an innovative program underway, ViraVida, which offers 100 free professional training spots aimed at young people aged 15 to 22 who are in situations of social vulnerability. Applications can be made until March 14, and this initiative is especially relevant for residents of the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro, aiming not only at technical training but also at social and professional inclusion.
Courses Offered
The courses provided by the ViraVida program are for administrative assistant and logistics operations assistant.
With a total workload of 272 hours spread over seven months, participants will have the opportunity to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge in areas that are in high demand in the job market.

Class Structure and Benefits
Classes will take place at the Firjan Vila Isabel unit, located in the northern zone of Rio de Janeiro, with a start date set for May 5.
With a schedule that includes four classes per week, from Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesdays), students will have a workload that allows for significant immersion in the covered content.
In addition to training, the program offers a BRL 600 stipend, which can be an important financial support for young people during their training.
Transportation assistance via bus is also provided, ensuring that students can travel to the unit easily.
Target Audience and Social Inclusion
The ViraVida program is specially designed to serve young people in situations of social vulnerability, focusing on groups that often face discrimination and difficulties accessing educational and professional opportunities.
This includes young people undergoing socio-educational measures, those who are institutionally sheltered, as well as members of the LGBTQIAPN+ community (preferably trans and transgender individuals), black youths (both black and brown), and slum residents.
Inclusion of these groups is a priority for Firjan, which seeks to promote equal opportunities and help these young people develop a more promising future.

It is necessary to be between 15 and 22 years old, currently attending at least the 6th year of Elementary School, and reside in the capital or Greater Rio, with easy access to the Firjan Vila Isabel unit.
