Firjan Senai Is Offering Thousands of Free Technical Course Slots in Various Areas. The Opportunities Focus on Low-Income Individuals and Also Include Minors Under 18 Years Old.
Firjan Senai announced this week the opening of over 3,100 slots in free technical qualification and professional improvement courses throughout the state. The main rule for participation is that the candidate must have a family per capita gross income of up to 1.5 minimum wage. The Sector Qualification Program is scheduled to start in April, May, and June of this year.

There are over 1,100 open slots just in the Metropolitan Region. According to Edson Melo, education manager at Firjan Senai, there are opportunities for students, including minors under 18 years old, who are attending elementary, high school, or technical education, and for workers with various levels of education. Enrollment for Free Technical Courses FIRJAN SENAI
Candidates who meet the requirements outlined in the announcement for the free courses must enroll at the affiliated union during the period disclosed by them. Interested individuals will receive, at the time of enrollment, an individual letter, or their name will be sent via the union’s institutional email to Senai-RJ, and from then on, the candidate must go to the Senai-RJ Unit to complete their pre-registration.

After registering for the free courses on the Senai-RJ website, they must attend the respective Senai Unit (RJ) within 2 business days to complete their pre-registration. If they do not attend, their registration will be automatically canceled. It is worth noting that Firjan Senai will not charge any fees for enrollment.
For enrollment, the required documents vary among the free technical courses offered:
- Official photo ID and CPF;
- Proof of education level considering the prerequisite;
- Self-declaration of low income;
- Additional document required for enrollment, depending on the specifics of the course;
- Military enlistment certificate or reservist for males aged 18 to 45 years.
